Endorsement Policy

Last Updated: May 8, 2026

This Endorsement Policy applies to endorsements submitted, approved, displayed, or otherwise used through Worksona. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service and Content & Acceptable Use Policy.

On Worksona, endorsements are professional recommendations from people who have worked with, managed, hired, advised, mentored, collaborated with, or otherwise professionally interacted with the profile owner.

Worksona endorsements are not product reviews, ratings, background checks, employment verification, credential verification, or formal references verified by Worksona.

1. Endorsements Are Not Verified by Worksona

Worksona does not independently verify the identity of endorsement submitters.

We do not verify:

  • The endorser's name
  • The endorser's company
  • The endorser's job title
  • The relationship between the endorser and the profile owner
  • The truthfulness of the endorsement
  • Whether the endorser is authorized to speak on behalf of a company
  • Whether the endorsement was actually submitted by the person named

Profile owners are responsible for approving only endorsements they reasonably believe are genuine, truthful, authorized, and not misleading.

2. Rules for Submitting Endorsements

If you submit an endorsement, you represent that:

  • You are the person identified in the endorsement.
  • The endorsement reflects your honest opinion or experience.
  • You have a genuine professional relationship or relevant professional experience with the profile owner.
  • The endorsement is accurate and not misleading.
  • You are not impersonating another person.
  • You are not submitting the endorsement for deceptive, fraudulent, or unlawful purposes.
  • You have disclosed any compensation, incentive, personal relationship, or material connection where disclosure is required.

You may not submit fake, misleading, AI-generated, copied, paid, undisclosed, unauthorized, or deceptive endorsements.

3. Rules for Profile Owners

If you receive endorsements, you are responsible for deciding whether to approve, display, hide, or delete them.

You may only approve endorsements that you reasonably believe are genuine, truthful, authorized, and not misleading.

You may not:

  • Create fake endorsements for yourself.
  • Ask others to submit endorsements that are false or misleading.
  • Approve endorsements you know or suspect are fake.
  • Use AI to fabricate endorsements.
  • Misrepresent who submitted an endorsement.
  • Display endorsements that falsely imply employment, client relationships, credentials, or professional achievements.
  • Present an endorsement as an official company endorsement unless the endorser is authorized to speak on behalf of that company.
  • Offer compensation, discounts, gifts, or incentives for endorsements without appropriate disclosure.

4. Company Names and Titles

If an endorsement includes a company name, job title, or relationship, that information should be accurate and not misleading.

An endorsement from a person who works at a company does not mean the company itself endorses the profile owner unless that is clearly stated by an authorized representative.

5. Approval and Display

Endorsements may be hidden by default until approved by the profile owner.

Once approved, endorsements may appear on the user's published Worksona profile and may be used by the profile's AI chat assistant to answer visitor questions.

Worksona may remove or restrict endorsements at any time if we believe they violate this policy, our Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others.

6. Reporting Endorsements

If you believe an endorsement is fake, misleading, unauthorized, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise violates this policy, contact:

mike@worksona.ai

Please include the profile URL, the endorsement at issue, and the reason for your report.

7. No Worksona Verification or Guarantee

Worksona does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or authenticity of endorsements.

Visitors, recruiters, hiring managers, employers, and other viewers should not treat endorsements as verified references, background checks, employment verification, credential verification, or official statements by Worksona.
