We started Worksona with a simple belief: you are more than your resume. A single page of bullet points can't capture the wins you're proud of, the way you think, or what it's actually like to work with you. So we set out to build a better way to tell that story — an interactive, AI-powered profile that answers questions about you the way you would.

Today, we're adding one more piece: a place to think out loud.

What you'll find here

This blog is where we'll share the ideas behind the product and the lessons we pick up along the way. Expect posts on three themes:

• Standing out — practical advice on presenting your experience, getting noticed, and moving through a hiring process that often feels like a black box.
• Behind the build — how we're designing Worksona, the decisions we wrestle with, and the occasional thing we get wrong and fix.
• The bigger picture — where hiring is heading as AI reshapes how people discover, evaluate, and connect with one another.

The resume was invented for a world of filing cabinets. The way we present ourselves should have moved on by now.

Why this matters now

Hiring is changing faster than it has in decades. Recruiters skim hundreds of near-identical PDFs; candidates pour hours into tailoring documents that get six seconds of attention. Something has to give.

We think the answer isn't more polish on an old format — it's a fundamentally richer one. A profile that can hold a conversation, surface the right story for the right reader, and represent you even when you're asleep.
